Our buildings are inspired by traditional earth architecture. The eco-construction workshop invites guests to work with the same materials — rammed earth, lime, tadellakt — alongside the craftsmen who built the site.
A retreat week at Bab Zouina mixes two daily yoga sessions with space to do very little. Meals are prepared in house from the garden and the local market. Between sessions guests walk in the valley, sit on the terraces, or book a session in the Hammam.
Classes start early, before the valley warms up. The studio opens onto the olive grove, and for the first hour the only sounds are birds and water moving through the irrigation channels. Our teachers are carefully selected and classes are designed to value quality over quantity.
